![]() I shot 3-4 racks at home with it before I had to leave to go to league. The one thing I noticed is I can get a lot more action and spin on the cue ball with a lot less effort than my JHE. To me the shaft plays extremely similar to my JHE. It was really nice to play with it for the 3 months as the maintenance of CF shafts is easy and great. It is a very solid shaft but I can see how it is "not for everyone" as I am one of those. I also needed to put more speed on a shot to get the same action I got from my OB+JHE (this was before and after the tip change although the Kamui tip required less speed). Could have been tip / shaft diameter / aiming to low that caused it. Before everyone says it was my stroke I busted out my OB+JHE and set up the same shot aiming at the same point and it didn't happen. ![]() From time to time I also "scooped" the cue ball over balls by aiming to low (only during league nights with valley bar box crappy cue ball). If I remember correctly there was somewhat of a "tingy" sound/feel as well. After the 2 months I changed the tip to a Kamui medium. I found a good deal on a Predator Roadline butt with Revo 12.4 shaft so bought it and tried it for 2 months. The cue's weight is around 18.5-18.75 oz. I play with an OB butt and a Jacoby Hybrid Edge 12.75mm shaft with medium G2 tip (3/8x10 modified joint). Before I get into the review and comparison (from a slightly above average pool player - although people say I don't give myself enough credit) I want to say that I have played with the Predator Z and 314 shafts in the past and never got the "this is the best shaft ever" vibe a lot of Predator fans have (and everyone is different and can have their own opinion which I am accepting of) but here is what I was playing with before trying each shaft. ![]()
